Welcome To Mahi & Tapi Basin Organization, Gandhinagar

Mahi & Tapi Basin Organisation (MTBO) is one of the thirteen regional organisations of the Central Water Commission. It is a field unit of the River Management (RM) Wing. The organization is headed by a Chief Engineer who is assisted by Superintending Engineer (Coordination). The Organisation consists of one Hydrological Observation Circle headed by Superintending Engineer at Gandhinagar, one Monitoring & Appraisal Directorate headed by Director at Vadodara and Director (Monitoring), Gandhinagar.
