Introduction:

Techno-economic appraisal of medium irrigation projects submitted by Government of Maharashtra is carried out by the Appraisal Directorate under MCO located at Nagpur as per guidelines laid down for the proposal.

Consequent upon restructuring of Central Water Engineering Services (Group A), the Appraisal Directorate, Nagpur became functional on 14.03.1995. This Directorate is headed by a Director and assisted by one Deputy Director and six other sanctioned staff of various levels.
